Excellence in Benefits Administration: A Strategic Approach to Enhancing Employees’ Experiences

Lara Andrake is recognized for relationship building and is experienced in translating complicated organizational risk and insurance concepts, benefits administration, change management, and financial principles into useful language for all levels within an organization. 

An effective change leader— with over 15 years’ experience assisting team members incorporate continuous process improvement into daily work. Lara has led efforts in the public, private, and higher education space to help transition to new systems, revamp management structures, and build programs to modernize and facilitate best practices for Benefits Administration, Financial, & Risk management. Lara brings a dynamic perspective that incorporates a practical approach to solving organizational obstacles. 

Currently, she serves as the Chief, Shared Services and Enterprise Risk Management, adjunct Faculty at PVCC, where she teaches Business Law and Principles of Management, and serves on the Cville SHRM Board as Secretary. 

In her free time, you can find her spending time with Christopher, her husband, kayaking, watching movies, or taking in a random festival they discovered.
