MAJOR DUTIES:
1. Manage recruitment efforts for the agency to include the following:
a. Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers by serving as a point of contact for questions regarding recruitment, selection, and hiring as well as staying abreast of current and future business needs.
b. Review and revise job descriptions in coordination with Supervisors.
c. Create and manage employment advertisements
d. Post openings in online venues, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues
e. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
f. Attend job fairs and interface with college campus representatives, and location organizations.
g. Collaborate with universities and colleges to promote interest in the behavioral health field of study.
h. Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally

2. Assist with onboarding efforts to include the following:
a. Assist new hires and collect new hire paperwork
b. Issue staff identification badges

3. Maintain basic understanding of Region Ten Human Resources policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations in order to assist staff in the following:
a. Answer general employee inquiries.
b. Assist employees with general inquiries regarding FMLA, Workers Compensation, or Leave Request.
c. Assist employees with general inquiries regarding company sponsored benefits.
d. Review paperwork for completeness
e. Refers complex and/or sensitive matters to Director of HR, Senior Director of Administration, and/or Executive Director.

4. Oversee employee recognition program to include the following:
a. Mail employee birthday cards
b. Manage service anniversary gift program

5. Serve as receptionist for the HR Suite to include the following:
a. Greet staff and vendors that enter the HR suite
b. Answer the general HR telephone line
c. Review the HR email inbox daily and forward emails to responsible individual to handle
d. Review the fax emails and forward to responsible individual to handle

6. Perform document and data collection related to the daily operations of Human Resources. Includes data entry, tracking, data assurance, and reporting.

7. Assist with filing and scanning of document for maintenance of employee files.

8. Maintain a working knowledge and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and makes recommendations on best practices. 

9. Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two to Five years’ experience in Human Resource. SHRM-CP a plus. In addition, the incumbent should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Knowledge of: Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws; recruitment principles; payroll and tax reporting requirements; Munis software experience a plus.

Skills in: Project management; excellent verbal and written communication skills; data analysis; excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills; attention to detail; time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines; proficient with MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (preferably Munis)

Ability to: Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality; ability to work independently, ability to quickly learn and adapt quickly. Flexible. Problem solving skills.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Able to access and navigate each department at the Region Ten facilities. Ability to endure a high level of stress

SCHEDULE: 40 Hours per week M-F 8:30 - 5:00
