1. How long have you been a member of Cville SHRM? 

• 9 years (was a guest for 5 years prior to that)

2. Why did you join Cville SHRM? 

• As an occasional guest over several years and our company finally recognizing HR as a needed department, I saw more of a need to learn more and grow with the local HR community.

3. What’s your favorite part of being a member of Cville SHRM?

• The great presentations and fellow HR sharing.

4. What is your current occupation?

• Benefits, Employee relations, FMLA, workers comp and more.

5. What do you love most about your job?

• The people connection and being able to help others.

6. Who inspires you?

• My awesome best friend Trinlie.

7. What advice would you give to someone who wants to enter HR?

• GO FOR IT!  It can be demanding at times but so very rewarding.

8. What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know? 

• I like to attend Bluegrass festivals and don't even know how to sing or play an instrument!

9. What’s the next place on your travel bucket list? 

• Looking to Scotland!

10. What’s one item you can’t live without?

• Retreating to nature on weekends.
